Hello! Beginnings...
Welcome to Eppy's Creations!
Ah, beginnings, such wonderful yet intimidating experiences. You begin as a novice and learn along the way until you find that you may still be a novice at the end. There is always something to learn and never, never think you know it all. Perception and attitude is the most important in life so always start something new with an open mind.
This is the site where you will find all information regarding the books or projects of Christy Condoleo (a.k.a. Chris Condoleo). I never tire of writing so there will be many projects. I am also a tireless optimist (though there are times it can be trying) so if you ever need to be encouraged out of a dark hole, I'm the one to call upon. I am also a gemini so there are many sides to me--you will never know them all but I will show you many if you look closely enough at my characters.
The first book I have published, though not the first created, was "Gasgeil's Bravery". It was self published and originally created for a contest which my sister introduced to me. As you may have surmised, I did not win the contest. I have a theory about contests...I am not allowed to win but that is alright with me. Someone has to win and not everyone who does not win is a loser...we are just not the 'right' ones at the 'right' time. See, all a matter of perception. Just because one person does not enjoy the piece does not mean there is not someone else who will love it.
My second book published was "Tyme's Hope". It was actually developed before "Gasgeil's Bravery" but I was not certain where I wanted to go with it. Luckily, I met Chris Goguen and it came to life. Chris is currently working on another picture book idea. It is a companion of sorts for "Gasgeil's Bravery". It's working title is "Something Greater Than Fear". There are some lovely pictures up in the gallery of what's to come.
I'm currently finishing up my first novel (it's a seven book series), "Fragments of the Key--Eala's Misfit". A few mishaps and some rewrites have left me behind schedule. Check in often to find out more about promotional activity for when it's completed and of course where to buy.
There is also a 'shorts' page in which you can read some of my short stories. There were some that were inspired by pictures sent in by friends. If you'd like to see your picture put to words, just send it in and I'll see what I can come up with.
I tried to not be long winded. Once I start talking about writing or creating stories, it's hard for me to stop. Thank you for stopping by, please visit all the pages. I am always updating so it is wise to check back often. Sometimes it may only be the blog or it could be to add a few picks or even to give more info on project completion dates.
